With over 35 years in the beauty industry, I first discovered Guam while leading the team at the Harrods Beauty Salon in London. There was an instant buzz—and once I tried it myself, I was hooked. I knew I had found something special and made it my mission to bring Guam to New Zealand, sharing this long-loved Italian beauty secret. What I love most is how Guam truly nourishes the skin. The marine algae act like a superfood, rich in minerals, vitamins, and trace elements that support strong, healthy skin.

Today, I proudly own www.chrysalis.co.nz on the Hibiscus Coast, an award-winning clinic recognised as one of New Zealand’s best. We’ve worked with Guam for over 20 years because it delivers real results and aligns with our values.

Founded in 1986 by Lacote, Guam brings over 40 years of expertise in marine-based skincare. Our Seaweed Mud is developed and produced exclusively in Italy, backed by ongoing scientific research and a commitment to quality. 

Each May, we harvest young algae from the pristine waters off Brittany at the peak of its potency. It is carefully dried using sun and sea air, then transformed into a concentrated powder rich in minerals, vitamins, and active elements. 

This meticulous process creates a pure, ocean-derived treatment designed to deliver visible results and support skin health.
